Move In Inspections

Being a landlord isn’t for everyone but we find it’s helpful for our clients to know their options before making the decision to sell.

The first step is contacting us for a complimentary pricing and strategy overview. Understanding your goals first helps us put together the best plan for our clients. Once a strategy is confirmed, we will schedule a time to walk the property so we can properly give you an estimated rental value.

Rental price is based on a few items, most importantly the current supply and demand in the market for a home like yours. Over the phone we can typically give you a good range for what the price might be, however, in order to really feel confident in our rental price, we need to see the property, verify the condition and repairs that need to be done, and see how it compares to others that have rented in your immediate area.

Some of the pitfalls we see consistently are when owners try to price their properties without the aid of other rentals in the area. Another pitfall we see is when a property owner does not keep an adequate budget to cover expenses when “Unthinkable” events happen.
