How Credit Repair Works

Sometimes, you just want some help to navigate the process and dispute inaccurate or incorrect information in your credit report for you. Today, we are going to take a break from educating and explain how Credit Repair works.

STEP 1 – We analyze your credit report to identify the problems

We begin with importing your most recent credit report into our specialized software platform. Part of the first step on the path to better credit is to identify the inaccurate information that is bringing your score down. This is done through a deep credit analysis process. Once we know what the problems are and understand your credit goals, we will develop a game plan and write dispute and validation letters for you to start having those inaccurate remarks removed and ultimately build your credit score. We will be here for you and will make sure you know what is happening each step of the way. Our goal is to help people improve their credit scores.

STEP 2 – Challenging the Bureaus

Once we have identified all of the information that is not verifiable, inaccurate or misleading, we input it into our system. This allows us to begin the challenging process. The process will dispute the information reported by the credit bureaus, the creditors and the collection agencies. The dispute letters are sent out to each party. This process can take 30 to 40 days as we wait for replies and updates. You will be able to check the status of your credit repair via our online portal. We work to restore your credit from start to finish. Some bureaus and free sites advertise online disputes, but it has been our experience that letters sent via mail have a higher success rate.

STEP 3 – Analyzing the Updated Reports

After the updated reports have come back in from the suppliers, we will go over them once again to verify that the inaccurate, unverifiable or misleading items were removed or updated. If the information is still on the report, or the suppliers calm it was verified, we go back to the entities that furnished the report and start asking questions about why the information was not removed or updated. If the information on the report has been deleted, we move on to the next item that is worthy of a dispute.

STEP 4 – Credit Education

During the credit restoration process, we will provide you with the information and the education you need to continue raising your credit score. You will be given information about debt settlement and what it takes to rebuild your credit. This education process will also help you better understand credit scoring so you will know how to prevent problems in the future. There are other products we offer that can help you with your credit rebuilding process. Things like legal assistance, credit monitoring and credit rebuilding credit cards will all assist you on the path to restoring a healthy credit score and maintaining it.
