1. The Mexican Food
If you love Mexican food, Phoenix is the place for you! One of the most common phrases you may hear is that “you can eat at a new Mexican food restaurant every day for months.”
2. Beautiful Weather
The weather here is perfect, there is a reason we have the nickname “The Valley of the Sun”. On average we have about 300 days of sunshine out of the year.
3. Entertainment
Phoenix always has an event going on. Right now we have Spring Training until the end of March. This year we will host the NCAA Final Four. There are always concerts and a festival for anything you can think of: art, beer, tacos, wine and much more.
4. Exploring Nature
Here in Phoenix there are plenty of hiking trails, off-roading spots and parks. I bet you didn’t know that one of the largest national municipal parks is right here in Phoenix, it’s the South Mountain Park and Preserve.
5. Golf
With the average 300 days of sun and about 200 golf courses, Phoenix is straight out of a golfers dream. In addition to that Phoenix hosts the Waste Management Phoenix Open, it is one of the biggest PGA events out there. Every year it continues to draw in rowdy, record-breaking crowds year after year.
6. The Real Estate
The real estate market in Phoenix is booming, with the low prices in comparison to many other states. It seems like a no brainer to pick up and move the family to Phoenix.
7. Surprisingly Massive Coffee Scene
This may surprise many of you; Phoenicians love their coffee. There seems to be a new coffee shop to try every month. We have coffee shops to cater to all walks of life.
8. Nightlife
It doesn’t matter what you are into, I can almost guarantee that Phoenix has it. If you are into jazz bars, electronic music clubs, or country line dancing bars the diverse nightlife will deliver. There are plenty of options here including comedy clubs, dive bars, upscale restaurants and much more.
9. The Winter
Winter…in Phoenix? While most of the other states are blanketed with snow. Here in Phoenix, we have an average of 70 degrees in those winter months. Doesn’t that sound awesome? *Hint* – It is awesome!
10. You don’t have to change the clocks!
Yes it’s true we don’t have to change our clocks for daylight savings time. I bet some of you from other states were wishing this was the case for you this past weekend.
